- Leave M42 at junction 11 and join A42
- Leave A42 and join the M1 at junction 23a

- Take A52 to Nottingham and follow the signs to Derby. On the outskirts of Nottingham take the signs to Derby, remaining on the A52 (ring road).
- Just after passing over the River Trent you will find yourself approaching a flyover. Just before the flyover, take the slip road off to the left signposted to Long Eaton.
- Left at the roundabout under the flyover onto University Boulevard. The University will be on your right along this road.
- Turn left at the next roundabout onto Queens Road.
